Changes to my Study Programme

Imagen
Since I entered the university I questioned the reason why there were so many introductory courses in my career in relation to universities outside of Chile (and that many of them are semester instead of annual). The excessive duration of careers for these subjects is not something isolated that occurs only in this university, but throughout Chile.  They do this in order to be able to profit more instead of doing it with an educational approach and thinking about student welfare, since many universities lengthen their careers with subjects that are not even necessary for the area, even the students called them "subjects filling". Leaving aside this problem of the study plan typical of Chile, I would like my career to have more specialized subjects and to think about the new technologies that have been created in recent years. One of these subjects that would be interesting to be taught could be related to the encapsulation and 3D printing of food. Although I have a branch wh

Time travel to the future: Santiago year 2050

Imagen
Actually, I had never thought about traveling to the future, but it would be interesting to go to Santiago in 2050. According to many environmental studies they project that in that year we would have total water shortages in the region, and I would like to know what will be done about it, if They have modified certain behaviors towards caring for the environment (hopefully). I would also be interested to know how my family will be, my parents will be very old, obviously. I would like to know if my sister was finally able to pursue her university career, if she had children or if she changed her place of residence. Also, I'm curious what I've done. Will I be working? I will have a house? Have I gotten married? Or maybe he would not even be in Santiago, in that case he would have to travel again. I wouldn't want to stay there for many reasons. The first is that I consider myself a young person and I have many experiences to live, many things to learn and people to meet.

My Future Job

Imagen
I’m studying Food Engineering, which is a university career with a lot of work field in which I can perform in production, development, quality, management, laboratory, research and more. Among all these areas I would like to manage a company and manage the quality of the products. I’ve never liked jobs where I’ve to be in the same sitting place or in a closed place, but being an industry I’ve to work inside trying to move as much as possible hahaha. Although I don't like offices, I like the outfits that I can create a lot, so I’m not 100% working in one. I hope that my job allows me to travel to other countries, even for training or a simple meeting, so I take advantage of knowing new places for a short time. I plan to specialize in quality or in microbiology at a university in Spain, specifically at the “University of Valencia” because in that house of studies there are super advances in the food and related area. If it is not possible in Spain, I plan to take various courses i

The Simpsons

Imagen
In my childhood I had the habit of watching the same movies all the time (such as "back to the future" and "Sleeping Beauty") so I rarely watched a new series. As in any case there are exceptions, in the afternoon I was waiting to see The Simpsons since on channel 13 they gave a new episode at 7:00 p.m. And that series entertained me a lot. My parents didn't like me to see it because sometimes according to them they gave double meaning jokes or scenes not suitable for my age, but anyway I ended up seeing it hahaha. As I did with programs like Art Attack, when I couldn't see a chapter of The Simpsons, my parents or my sister would record it for me on VHS so that I could see them as soon as I arrived at my house. My favorite character back then was Bart Simpson as he always came up with a joke towards Skinner and it was funny. The characters I didn't like were Mr. Burns and Homer Simpson, the latter because I found him quite stupid on many occasions. I st

My Pet: Milo

Imagen
To begin with, I don't have a pet in my house, but I do have a pet at my boyfriend's house.  A classmate from college posted on his Instagram that he gave many kittens up for adoption, since he couldn't take care of all of them, so I told my boyfriend and we went to visit him. There was only one cat left and he was a bit shy, he was the last to be born. Perhaps it was a bit of a traumatic experience for him at first to get away from his mother, then the dog got totally used to it. His name is Milo, he will soon be 2 years old.  It is a gray cat, with light eyes, thin and very long, it looks a lot like a small tiger. Sometimes he is a little surly, but with me not so much. He likes to drink water when he is falling and lately he has been trying to climb, he is quite homey and usually sleeps a lot during the day. My boyfriend sends me photos or videos of the Milo every day so I don't miss him so much. I really like to pamper Milo even though he doesn't live with me,

The best holidays ever

3 years ago I decided to take a trip to Peru, specifically to Machu picchu. So I started raising money and a friend wanted to join me. We arrived by plane in Arica and had to stay in a hotel of dubious reputation, literally next to the beach. The next morning we decide to go to Peru by bus, we pass through Tacna, we stay there for two nights and then we leave for Arequipa and then arrive in Cusco. It took many hours of travel and the altitude played a trick on us at the beginning, but I think it was worth it. Cusco is a magical city, full of history and very friendly people. We stayed for a week in that place, in the middle of that week we went to the citadel of Machu picchu and we stayed in a room with a French girl. The next day we got to the place very early, it was wonderful! I forgot to tell you that we did not want to get on the train and it was the best decision we made, I found that it was the best part of the trip to walk through the pre-Amazon. Back in Cusco we met a Chilea

Iceland, a magical place:

Imagen
Some time ago I remember seeing a documentary that was about life in Iceland and it seemed like a place from another planet! It has a type of nature that does not exist in any other country, as it has geysers, volcanoes, lava deserts and multiple wonderful waterfalls. In addition, it has a wide diversity of animals that can be observed with the naked eye, such as, for example: whales and Icelandic horses that have a particular way of trotting. If they gave me the opportunity to travel, I would like to camp at the time where you can see the Northern Lights, enjoy thermal baths and take long walks through virgin lands. Fact freak: the hit series Vikings recorded a full season there. Actually, I don't think I like studying, or working and much less living, I would just settle for going on vacation and living those experiences. In addition, researching would be a very expensive trip, so it only remains to dream or have a good job.
